Accessibility
Work should be findable by everyone. We build toward WCAG 2.1 AA as a target. We do not claim certified conformance, and we publish known gaps honestly.
What we do today
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled form controls.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs, and menus.
- Touch targets sized for one-handed mobile use.
- Colour choices checked for text contrast against our navy/amber palette.
- Text that resizes with browser and OS settings; no fixed-pixel body copy lock-in.
Known gaps
- The map view of search results is not yet a full accessible alternative; use list view.
- Some AI-generated output is rendered as plain text without rich structure.
- We have not completed a third-party accessibility audit.
